Trailer Check List (leaving campsite)

__ Secure TV and VCR

__ Secure step ladder

__ Clear items from slideouts and retract slideouts

__ Turn off fresh water – stow hose

__ Stow TV antenna

__ Turn off all switches at breaker panel

__ Disconnect power – stow power cord

__ Disconnect TV cable, phone line

__ Close all windows and roof vents, secure all blinds

__ Close all cabinet doors and drawers

__ Turn off water pump

__ Lock doors, secure steps

__ Check trailer tire pressure

__ Check wheel lug nuts

__ Raise leveling jacks, stow leveling boards

__ Attach trailer to hitch

__ Remove wheel chocks

__ Attach trailer electrical connector to tow vehicle

__ Attach break-away lanyard

__ Verify hitch is latched, then completely retract RV legs

__ Stow all materials (RV legs support boards)

__ Test trailer lights – signal, brake, running

__ Test trailer brakes

__ Secure outdoor handle
